Gosforth Local.

Introducing a new home for two regional magazines, allowing advertisers to book their ad placements online for the first time.

What was the project?

Kay and Kevin run Gosforth Local and Gerrards Cross Local. They are both freely distributed magazines, posted to homes in each respective area. They wanted a way of allowing advertisers to reserve and pay for their placements online in order to try and save on admin time so that they could focus on running the magazines.

What were the results?

Both Gosforth Local and Gerrards Cross Local websites follow a similar design, keeping the brand consistent. The designs were created by taking the existing branding elements and creating simple layouts that worked across all devices.

The site was built using WordPress and making extensive use of Advanced Custom Fields, which allows them to upload all text and image elements themselves. Woocommerce was installed - and integrated with Stripe - to handle bookings and payments.
