About.

This is where you can find out more about me and my business.

Hello there.

My name is Scott Goodacre. I started Scott Digital in January 2020 when I decided to leave full-time employment and enter the world of self-employment.

I originally studied journalism at university, and achieved my degree in 2009. After this I studied for a PGCE in Post Compulsory Education and Training, completing my teaching placements at sixth form and university level.

Since then I have held teaching positions and senior marketing roles at several companies. I have worked as a head of marketing at a leading sixth form college and at a housing organisation, and worked in marketing curriculum roles in the apprenticeship sector.

Most recently I was designing and delivering training programmes to small business owners on EU-funded training programmes.

In both my marketing and teaching careers I have gained experience of a wide range of marketing. I have built a lot of websites, planned and carried out various advertising campaigns, managed multiple social media accounts, and used all of this knowledge to inform my teaching.

I continue to work in marketing, helping clients plan their marketing activity as well as carrying out some of these campaigns for them. I combine this with teaching, continuing to work on funded training programmes for small business owners and also helping apprentices gain qualifications at levels 3, 4, and 6.

I started Scott Digital because I believe there is a space in the market for someone who enjoys empowering people to do their own marketing. I build training and education into all of my activity - if I carry out a campaign I'm happy to explain what I've done and why, and when I build websites I'll include a walk-through of how to look after it for no extra cost.

I work with businesses of all sizes, regardless of industry, and all over the UK. If you have a project you would like to discuss with me, you canĀ get in touch and we'll organise a time for me to find out more.
