My career has always sat between theory and practice.
I started working in the industry in 2006 - by accident! - and during my career have worked across digital, communications, strategy, and business development. Alongside this I developed a passion for helping others learn and progress. I was first asked to lecture at a university within months of my own graduation, and a year later achieved a PGCE after I realised this was one of the directions I wanted to go in.
In the years since I've worked as a head of marketing at a sixth form college, held the same role at a housing organisation, and combined this practice with teaching at universities, on professional qualifications, and as part of apprenticeship programmes.
Today, I focus on teaching, assessment, quality assurance, and curriculum development, helping organisations create learning experiences that prepare marketers for the big wide world.
