Helping organisations deliver fair, consistent and high-quality assessment

Good assessment does more than measure learning; it helps learners understand what good looks like, gives organisations confidence in their programmes, and ensures qualifications maintain their value.

Over the years I’ve worked across apprenticeships, professional qualifications, and higher education, assessing learner work and supporting organisations to maintain high standards.

My experience includes working as an End-Point Assessor, Senior Examiner and External Quality Assurer, alongside assessment and quality assurance roles with universities and training providers.

Every organisation approaches assessment differently, but the challenges are often the same. How do you ensure assessment decisions are consistent? How do you maintain standards across multiple assessors? How do you balance compliance requirements with a positive learner experience?

Assessment support

I assess marketing apprenticeships and professional qualifications across a range of levels and programmes.

This includes reviewing portfolios, assessing learner work, providing developmental feedback, and making assessment decisions that are fair, evidence-based, and aligned with the required standards.

My work currently covers Level 3 Content Creator, Level 3 Multi-channel Marketer, Level 4 Marketing Executive and Level 6 Marketing Manager apprenticeships, alongside professional marketing qualifications.

Quality assurance

Quality assurance should never be a box-ticking exercise.

When done well, it helps organisations identify opportunities for improvement, support assessors and maintain confidence in the quality of their programmes.

I have experience supporting internal quality assurance activities within training providers and universities, as well as external quality assurance through my work with awarding organisations.

This includes standardisation, moderation, assessment review and supporting continuous improvement across programmes.
